December 2025 - Website Launched: https://www.ainaabundance.org/
November 2025 - Legal Council Established: Kayla Ruben, Associate of Morgan Lewis, joins our advisor team, specializing in counseling charitable organizations, private foundations, and other tax-exempt organizations on obtaining and maintaining tax-exempt status.
September 2025 - Kalukalu at 1624 Partnership: Kalukalu at 1624 is a Kaua’i community hub and resilience center founded by the Kaua’i Federal Credit Union stewarding a cooperative economy that serves climate, culture, and community. ‘Aina Abundance became a co-operative partner within the hub.
June 2025 - Collab Cafe Partnership: Collab Cafe begins ʻĀina Abundance program in the cafe, receiving donations on a sliding scale for their Pumpkin Sourdough, with all proceeds going towards ʻĀina Abundance, $1,200.
March 2025 - Culinary Development for Culturally Significant Crops: Through the in-kind donation of Green Banana Flour from Resilient Roots, and in the in-kind labor and culinary development from Andy Gariepy, we completed a recipe for a green banana chocolate chip cookie, to help replace one of the most popular items in local cafes. We began experimenting through catering opportunities with I Ola Wailuanui to test the desirability of our green banana chocolate chip version, with success!
April 2024 - Funds to Work - Supporting Culturally Significant Crops: Begins experimenting with distribution of funds, first to coconut harvesters for their coconut meat to purchase and freeze, a culturally important crop, which needs economic opportunity.
March 2024 - Receives Funds: Receives first grant funds from Novo Foundation - $3,250
February 2024 - Formation: Formation of ʻĀina Abundance within Inter-Nation Cultural Foundation (INCF) a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
